It is a Windows problem. You need to tell Windows to stop autodialing
everytime it senses TCP/IP. Close C/A, go into My Computer, Dial up
Networking, rename the device that dials out to the internet, restart C/A.
A window will pop that states that it can not find the device that it is
supposed to dial out to and it will ask if you want it to auto-dial in the
future. Disable auto-dial, rename the device to its original name. You
should be all set. HTH.

Some workstations in my shop have a peculiar behavior when Client Access is
started and connecting locally to the AS/400 through the NT network. The
dial-up window continues to reappear throughout the session. These
workstations have Windows 95 and 56k modems and 10 mg Ethernet cards.

Is this a problem with CA/400, Windows, or the TCP/IP configuration?

Thanks in advance for any insight into this problem.
