Hello Loyd,

I notice you have been given information to determine the member via the object
locks. However, you may also
want to determine this information programatically. There is no API available
so this information is
security level dependant.

You can use MI to determine this information: The Work Control Block has a
pointer to the Spool Control
Block and there is a section for each output file in which you will find a
pointer to the member containing
the spooled data. You can materialise this pointer to determine the member
name. Finding the file is a bit
harder. You need to get the reference to the 'owning' file from the member but
my memory is fading. I can't
recall exactly how to this. I'd need to start dumping internal thingies again.

You do need to know the the spooled file information and be able to read the
IRP from, for instance, an RPG
program to determine the layout of each control block.

Regards,
Simon Coulter.
