PC Week has a number of articles regarding Java which you may find
interesting.  One item of interest was from Pat Sueltz, IBM's General
Manager of Java:

"Java has gone mission-critical in a big way," she said.  Sueltz added a
dose of reality to her statements, however, emphasizing that Java
is not the cure for everything and still something of a "pre-pubescent
pixie."  "It's not the silver bullet, but an integral
piece of the puzzle that has come a long way in a short time," Sueltz said.
 "Java is bigger than IBM, bigger than Sun, bigger
than Microsoft."

Can anyone explain what a  "pre-pubescent pixie" is?  :-()
