        Well the obvious is to get the user off the Mac.  But, I would 
look at the Notes.ini (or what ever they call it on the Mac) there is a 
parm in there for the MTU packet size and I have seen where it is set to 
small at times, causing pack fragmentation and application time out. I 
would also check the IP Stack configuration in this area as well. 

        Also, check any routers/gateways to insure that they are not 
playing with the service port 1352 in anyway.  Lastly, check on the Lotus 
Notes FAQ  to see if any QMU updates address the issue.
