S/36 Query migration to S/36 EE on AS/400

I SHOULD know this - but it has been about 8 years since I last did it !
When migrating from a S/36 is there a conversion for S/36 queries or do they 
have to be re-written ?
Got a customer with hundreds of them and trying to decide whether to move this 
particular app into the S/36EE, or run an SSP Guest system and just run the 
same object code on the 400.
