We use the command prompter's native ability for lists,
dependencies and selective prompting.  By "sophisticated,"
I meant parameters that need to get validated against
a database file or files.  As you have already noted,
a choice program doesn't return a parm value back to the 
CPP.  In cases like this, it's easier to use a DSPF in the
CPP than to make the end user cut/paste/retype the values.

I agree that the command language is a wonderful, underused
asset.
