Yes, I am following all of this.  I understand that their is no way for a
selection to be made in the choice program.

I would have to agree with Doug that it would be an excellent change for IBM
to make to allow values to be passed back.

Since so few people use commands, what does everyone do, write CLP's that
prompt using DSPF's?

We will do something with these date thanks to Doug's fine example.
