we've done both over the years.  our major package is a collections/credit
reporting package we service for associations all over the usa.

because of that, we do a lot of work remotely, both on our system, and signed on
to their systems, through protocol convertors, and remote servers.

but we have local clients too, that want you on site, because the code is there,
the data is there, the staff is there, the boss is there.

we've had some employees in the past that have done work at home, and later, i
overheard them discussing how they could work for 2 hours, and turn in 4.
