The performance impact of creating an AG is quite large.  Over the years
I've seen so many cases where people were put off RPG IV and ILE completely
because of the *$!@ default of *NEW on CRTPGM that I tend to take a strong
line on it.  If they've heard me say it's a no-no, then I hope they'll
think hard about using it <grin> - you point is a valid one though.
