  • Subject: CICS/400 - Anyone know anything about it?

I'm doing RPG coding at a client who is "right sizing" from an MVS CICS
COBOL DB2 with SQL mainframe to an AS/400. I have some COBOL background but
no CICS background.

Is there anyone out there who knows anyone who's had experience migrating
mainframe CICS COBOL interactive programs to the CICS/400 environment? I
would like to hear from them.

I've searched my back issues of the letters to MIDRANGE-L as well as the
current usenet AS400 list without finding any references to CICS in the
AS/400 environment.

If you have any business case pro or con on the use of CICS on the AS/400,
I'd like to hear it.

Thanks in advance.
