        Subject: Colours in DDS/RPG/.. Source

        Hi One and All

This small thing is bothering me from a long time. It is

when I am modifying old DDS/RPG/... or any kind of source, I
observed insted
of regular green leters, I saw Red/White/... different colours
in some lines
of source. How can do it/achieve it. I asked lot of people but I
did't get
        right answer till this time.

        Anybodys answer is greately appreciated.

        Thanks
Reddy N

Hi Reddy ,

Just use the following steps to change the color

1, OVRDBF FILE(SRCPFNM) TOFILE(LIBRARY/SRCPFNM) MBR(MBRNAME)

2, STRSQL

3, UPDATE SRCPFNM SET SRCDTA = SUBSTR(SRCDTA,1,4) || X'28' ||
    SUBSTR(SRCDTA,6,72)

Hexadecimal value can be changed for changing to some other color's and
you can
Even highlight based on condition's by using SELECT

4, Delete the Override (DLTOVR)

There are several ways this can be changed by the above is one of the
way
