What tape drive do you have? At one time we were considering getting a 3570
and ADSTAR to do this.

Subject: NT & AS/400 backups

Hello all,
Can someone point me toward the appropriate manuals or references? I
have two AS/400s (V4R2 & V4R1) and an NT server (v4.0) on my LAN.
What's the easiest way to get the NT server backed up to the AS/400?
Are there any special considerations or procedures necessary to get the
NT data copied to the AS/400 tape unit?
Are there any restrictions on the kind of NT files, registry, etc that
can be included in the backup?
Can the AS/400 job scheduler control the backup function instead of the
NT server?
Lots of questions, so few answers. Please be aware that I am an old
400'er (??) but new to the network environment. Any help is
appreciated.

Thanks
Wayne
