I was reading an article on performance for Domino for AS/400. One paragraph
has the following:

'There is one AS/400 environment variable that can be used to improve Domino's
memory management. That is Notes_SHARED_DPOOLSIZE. This value has to be set
each time prior to starting the Domino server. The default is 1MB for Domino
Release 4.6B. This value should be changed to 12,000,000. In Domino Release
4.6.2, the default will be 12MB.'

I've never worked with environment variables.

1) How do I set them for a job?
Do I do a ADDENVVAR and then the STRDOMSVR?

2) How do I display the environment variables for a running job?
