  • Subject: Query Forgot how to Sort
  • From: Bill Robins <brobins@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>

We are on V3R2 and experienced a confusing problem several weeks ago.
Suddenly,
some queries started sorting incorrectly. Most cases it would act as if one of
the
sort field specs was dropped. ex: Query specified sort of Salesperson,
CustName,
PartNumber. Output became Salesperson,PartNumber.

Going into the Query and exiting would fix it. So, knowing what I do about
queries I
know that it makes an access pan on exit, it somehow lost its access plan all
on its
own. I checked dates on the Queries and they had not been modified.

Any ideas?

Bill
