The blunt way of saying this is to perform the task you were trying to perform. 
 What were you trying to do?  You were trying to execute a CL command from 
within a RPG program.  The first parameter is the command, and any of it's 
parameters, that you wanted to perform.  The second parameter is the length of 
the command.  For further information check out:
http://as400bks.rochester.ibm.com/cgi-bin/bookmgr/bookmgr.cmd/SHELVES/QB3AYC02
and click on 'Search Books'.  Do not click on 'Find'.  Search for QCMDEXC.  The 
first book you find is the one you want.
