Well, there are interesting moral (not to mention legal) implications in
giving away code samples.

But then, there are the times when -you- will need that code sample to get
around that sticking point.

I've found this list invaluable in providing the answers (or the
references) to solve some problems.  I hope I've been as valuable in
answering questions for others.

I agree-- some of the Newbie questions sound like someone's homework
problem, and I agree that pointing to the right place in the manual is the
correct answers to questions such as these.
