     Could it be timing out? What results do you get when you ping site 
     to site? Is your FR provider using cable or satelite? (Not really 
     sure if it makes any difference, but satellite communications 
     requires a different propagation delay.)

Is anyone here running a Wide Area Network to Europe?  Who is your 
communications provider?  How much bandwidth?  We have just put in a Wide 
Area Frame Relay network overseas and have been experiencing many problems 
where our users will be on-line with their 5250 Client Access emulations, 
and suddenly the terminals will go black.  They lose their session and 
have to click on communicaition - Connect.  What would cause these 
blackouts?  I assume its a network issues.  I am running a Wide Area 
Network to all units in United States and Canada without a problem. BTW, I 
am running OS/400 V4R2 and using TCP/IP to connect.
