If you know PTF numbers for an older release, check the infomational
APAR for PTF Cross Reference Summary.
You can find the PTF number to order/check for this if you look at the
Preventive Service Info PTF for a release (SF98vrm).

>From checking the PTF cross-reference listings it appears they haven't
done the V4R3M0 PTF yet. They usually wait until someone complains
about it, so if you're on V4R3M0 and want this, call IBM service and
tell them you want a V4R3M0 PTF that provides the function in the
V4R2M0 PTF SF48724.

Note also the PTF cover letters incorrectly say you had to press F10 to
see I/O details when it should say F11.
They changed that several releases ago, and never fixed the PTF cover
letters they just kept duplicating from one release to the next.

Neil,

I know that you sent an email showing the appropriate PTF for the
various
releases of the OS some time back. I put that email someplace and now I
can't
find it. Do you happen to still have that info? BTW, you are a great
help with
the way you keep us informed on PTFs!
