I know I am kind of late here, but what happens when program 2 reuses a
deleted record that also exists in program 1's "stale" deleted records
map.  Will program 1 reuse the same deleted record that program 2 used
(thereby over writing the data put out by program2)?  And wouldn't that
open up a can of worms<g>?
