That is more or less what I had in mind... I am trying to keep the
number of recompiles down.... If the app doesn't need the "new" date
then it won't "see" an 8 diget date , just the old 6 diget date....
and I don't have to recompile a zillion programs..... These are mostly
old S/36 apps running in S/36ee...... they have a mix of native and
S/36 so it makes for interesting conversions.....
