What I usually do is setup a QM Query and use the STRQMQRY command,
eg...

  STRQMQRY   QMQRY(HGR0093/CCMSDBFTP1) OUTPUT(*OUTFILE) + 
               QMFORM(*SYSDFT) OUTFILE(QTEMP/CCMSFTP) +   
               DATETIME(*NO) PAGNBR(*NO) NAMING(*SAA)

Hello,
 I am just curious if someone can answer a stupid question for me.  I
need to update a Database Feild and want to know if I can do that with
OPNQRYF
in a CL or if I will have to code it in COBOL to access the Database.
