Try this:

ovrprtf qprint ctlchar(*fcfc)
cpyf fromfile(your_file) tofile(qprint)

If your_file is a source file use fmtopt(*cvtsrc) with the cpyf command.

Subject: Restoring a saved spool file .

I have a spool file that I saved with CPYSPLF using *FCFC .
Now I want recreate the spooled file. When I do a CPYF to *PRINT
the file has row numbers. Is there a way to restore these files as the
original spool file.

Thank you
