I have used this function a bit (less than a lot, but more than just
playing) and I have never seen it not work.

Note than when the file is opened, the system develops a "deleted record
map".  This is an internal table of available deleted records to be re-used
by RR number.  If another application subsequently deleted a record, the
first application is not aware of the newly deleted record.

Please send me information as to look on where it will not work.
