If your printer can support IPDS then you can get the exact same level 
of support you can when printing to a local twinax printer.  Check out

        Is there any function in OS/400 to support IP printing of selective
pages?

        My users may generate a 500+ page spool file and only need pages 50 -
72 printed.

        If not from IBM does any 3rd party product do this from the 400?
