Thats just the thing. I deleted all the joblogs and the spool files and it
just hangs out there. The job completed a long time ago. Is there anything
else I can try?

That's normal. Any printer/cancelled spool files for a job will show as
FIN as the job keeps track of all output. When the job is completed,
and ALL output for the job is deleted (including the job log) the job
will disappear from your list of submitted jobs.
