This is true.  If you have to make changes your safe bet is to use the
generator to maintain the code.  For instance, we don't manually modify in
programs generated by Progen, we use Progen's interface to make any changes
to the program and it regenerates the code and compiles the program.  Progen
also allows you to insert your own RPG code into the program during the
design phase.
