  • Subject: Client Access Mod 2 Service Pack Notification! (fwd)
  • From: Don <dr2@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

The next Client Access for Windows 95/NT V3R1M2
Service Pack is available! The PTF number is SF49654.

- You can download the Service Pack from the Internet:
    - Go to http://www.as400.ibm.com/clientaccess
    - Select "Service Packs" from the menu on the left
    - Select "What Service Packs are currently available?"
    - In the PTF table, click on SF49654

NOTE!: If you try the above steps and get an error message
indicating that the file or folder is not found, please try this:
Cut and paste the following url into your browser:
ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/as400/products/clientaccess/win32/v3r1m2/servicepack/sf49654/SF49654.EXE

(The file name "SF49654.EXE" must be all capital letters.)

- Keep in mind that if you have problems downloading the
single 12-15M executable from your location, you could
try downloading the diskette images. This option allows you
to download individual pieces of the product as well. The
diskette images and readme can be found on the FTP site
  in a directory called DISKETTES.

- The PTF will be available in ECS within the next couple days
if you would like to order the OS/400 PTF.

- To find out what problems were fixed with this Service Pack,
please read the readmesp.txt file on the FTP site.

- The target date for the next Mod 2 Service Pack is January 27, 1999.

Thank you !
