We are using a T1 line to the Internet attaching to a Cisco router set up for
token ring. The only other thing on that ring is a Cisco Pix box - a firewall.
It goes through that into the next ring. The next ring has several of our
400's on it, a select few special purpose PC's in a locked room, and routers to
the rest of our network. Since we are supporting two email systems, (Notes and
MSMail), the email gets routed through a gateway on the first ring.
