And PROG1 doesn't do a CHGJOB?   Very odd indeed!

I would look at the joblog for the appc router job (it will be named the same 
as the
appc device description) and see what that is telling you.

Wait!  another thought.... you don't happen to have an exit program for either 
the
remote command server or DDM that does a CHGJOB do you ?
