Midrange Computing had an article on this back in 93  It consisted of 2
different programs.  Follow this link below for the source.  Basically one
program runs on a terminal all the time or until it gets a kill signal.  It
is only ued for displaying the informaiton.  The second program runs on
another terminal  and writes information or the kill signal to a Data Que.
