Change value of the system variable QPWDMINLEN to 8. Since you already
have the *SECADM authority, you should be able to do this.

Subject: Changing System wide System Values

I have been given a user account and told it is the SysAdmin on the
AS/400.
Some of the QPWD* variables have default system values. How do I change
System wide System Values for all user profiles?

Example - I want to have a minimum password length of 8 characters. Can
I do
this for all users?

TIA.
