I'm close but not exact. Using a 100mb ? card, AS400 V3R7, new
CA w/ 48155, Novell 32 client, NT 4.0, Novell 4.11, etc..... on a
Gateway box. Everything works most of the time - sometimes I hang on
shutdown but I also run a lot of other stuff during the day. All
network connections work when I want them.

What we have found that makes the most difference is disabling ALL
power management features that run on boxes. I would guess that the
problem is coming from the laptop and the card and not the other
stuff.

Is the hang a permanent thing or just impatience? The AS/400 is
sometimes slow to respond to a PC request. If the laptop is running
IP, can you ping it after it hangs?

Good luck. Let us know what you find out.
