Hi Cynthia,

We use emulated system printers here successfully printing on Novell print
servers and local printers . Go to your CA/400 group and start the help.
Look for Sharing a PC printer in the "how to" and follow the wizard. If you
want to print PC stuff on AS/400 printers, that also can be done and we also
do it here. If you need further help than the CA/400 User Guide, I can send
you the steps.

Thanks....Randy W.

Subject: WAN printer connectivity

We currently have a WAN utilizing frame, Cisco routers, Novell 4.x (and
WFW311 on servers). I can effectively map to a remote location's server
but cannot seem to print to one of their printers. Printer has been
set-up on WIN 95 desktop. Desktop sees printer/outqueue but receive
error when attempting to print. Error message is too vague to be of any
help. Any ideas?

If this is not possible, is it possible to use AS/400 based printers to
print PC based reports? We have F50 at V3R2 and 620 at V4R2. Tried a
few things on RISC machine but could not seem to locate printers in
Network Neighborhood.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. TIA
