Maybe the users you are sending to on the V3R1 system that it doesn't
work for don't have a directory entry on the V3R1 system and the users
who it works for do, and you don't have the following 'default' entry
for remote printing:

User ID/Address . . . . : QNETSPLF SSLTDB10

System name/Group . . . : SSLTDB10
User profile . . . . . : QNETSPLF
Network user ID . . . . : QNETSPLF SSLTDB10

> We are having a problem with remote writers using IP. We have remote
> writers set up to send spool files from a V4R2 AS/400 to a V3R1 AS/400
> via
> IP. For most users this works fine, but we have a few user profiles
> that
> will not work - the spool file on the V4R2 system goes into SND status

> then SAV, but never appears on the V3R1 system. Spool files of other
> users
> on the same outq show up on the V3R1 system with out any trouble. Has
