Gives you much better control over the print function, more like a local
printer, page ranges, ability to restart, ability to see where the print
job is at as opposed to SND and 'gone', etc.

Yes, I would change to the new support if your printers are capable of
it.

Support is in base V4R1/2 - PTF for V3R7.  NO CISC support.
