For what it's worth, although OS/400 does NOT, I repeat NOT support NAT at this
time, in some bright, unspecified, future day AS/400 might support NAT.

To put it another way, if IBM actually ships another release after V4R2 ... and
I'm NOT saying IBM WILL do this ... but if they did then possibly it would (1)
be called V4R3 and (2) would contain support for NAT. If this were to actually
happen then you would be able to have the AS/400 connect to the ISP and the PC
could connect to the Internet via the AS/400's connection to the ISP.

Usual caveats: This is just specualation and talk, not a commitment. Wait for
an official announcement from IBM of release availablity and function before
actually planning on release contents. You can't trust what I say. Yada, yada.
Do not fold, spindle, mutilate, et cetera. <g>

Realize this doesn't help with your immediate problem. But it's something to
mull over while showering in the morning.
