- Purchased at some month interval
- not always the same componant (according to IBM)
- Same cabinet? those are small AS/400, everyting in one box and one controler

- The UPS are FORTRESS sold to us by IBM

About the time of purchase, when the E (as if B,C,D,E anf F) model came out,
we purchase several of them in a short period of time. Well, beleave it or not,
but in the folowing 18 month we had to replace, due to crashed or just before
crashes, about "25" drives. It took a while but IBM finally admitted that there
was a range of disk that were faulty and they replaced all our drive for all
our machines at the time (about 15). We even had a site that was working 7/24
that sufered 3 crahsed in one month. Needless to say that our backup procedure
are proven and well tested.
