In response to the points below, here are some things I've heard in the
past that may apply:

1)      It's cheap because it's no bloody good !
        You can pay me now, or pay me later !
2)      There's no such thing as enough performance !
        (Well OK, maybe that one was talking about race cars, but still
....
3)      If everyone else put their head in the fire would you do it too
?
        People will buy crap.  Just because it sells the most doesn't
mean it's the best.

As for 'Wolfpack' - didn't I hear somewhere that wolves occasionally eat
their young ?    :-)
