That's correct. First you write the source, then use it to create the physical 
file with CRTPF. Check the completion message to see if it was created 
successfully. You can also view the compile listing. The last line will verify 
if it was or was not created. If you have done this, you should be able to 
display the file description with DSPFD lib/file. You should also be able to 
find it with CHKOBJ lib/file objtype(*file). If you can't you either do not 
authority to read it, or it does not exist.
