in the last two months, we have had 6 failures between 7 systems. up to   
that point, nothing for about a year. sounds like you guys are running a   
better average than we are. 8^)

Hello all,

Our company has about 40 AS/400 in north america. The machines are betwen   
1
and 4 years old. In the last 6 months, we had to replace 5 disk due to fa
ilure (crashed). To me this number of crash seems High but IBM told us   
this
was noting out of the ordinary.

I dont have the number but i tought that the mean time between failure of   
the
AS/400 was much greater.

What do you think?
