Sybase' Data Architect, etc., have some knowledge of AS/400 databases. It
did not handle the referenetial integrity stuff when I last looked at it,
but they've had upgrades since then. The product is fairly intuitive to
use. Some funniness but not bad. Used to be Powerbase' S-Designor.

ERWin also knows about AS/400. It was not as easy to use as Data Architect,
however.

Popkin has a similar tool, called System Architect, I think.. It had AS/400
knowledge but had only an APPC connection—no TCP/IP. That may have changed.

There are a number of other tools along the line of data modelers or OO
design tools. The above-mentioned tools can all reverse-engineer. They also
have other components that can generate commands, usually SQL and
occasionally DDS, that can create files/tables on the server database.

Check WebFerret (have you picked it up yet) for data modeling.
