Does the QTWCHKSP API (Check Spelling) require Office/400?

It does require dictionaries.  Can you get the dictionary with out 
Office/400?

Does anybody know of an alternative spell checker on the AS/400?

How about for Unix and/or Windows 95/NT and source code is included 
(so it can be migrated)?
