We are using Delphi/400. We have tried various AS400 connectivity
products and have found Delphi/400 to be the best for our purposes.
Don't be put off by the PASCAL language. It fits naturally with object
oriented programing. We have been using Delphi 400 for all of our new
development projects and it is way faster than ODBC. There is no
comparision! The newest version allows a straight TCP record level
access so there is no need for a router on the PC end.
We are a two man programming shop and have sucessfully rolled out 4
separate client/server apps in one year. If you would like more
information please drop me a private e-mail.
