Bill,

  As others have pointed out, there is no direct equivalent.  A
technique that I have used many times is to create a data are with the
name of the process (ie "ORDERPOST").
In the job that is performing the test attempt any lock on the data
area.  If it succeeds-release it and then do what needs to be done. 
Also at the very beginning of the job being tested for, do an ALCOBJ
*EXCL on the data area.  If that lock fails then this job Must already
be running so I quit. (This aleviates the possibility that the first
occurance of the job was going through the jobq when the second
occurance was being submitted)
