was to produce cheques it has the ability to merge any spool file with a
form. We use Quick forms for windows to design the forms and then upload
them to the AS400. The product uses standard PCL 5 compatible printers.

We also looked a CreatePrint which looked like a decent and affordable
product. Although at the time we looked at it the product required Post
Script printers .<<

We also have CreatePrint. I personally don't use it. We are doing our best to
start weaning ourselves from it and onto AFP. One product that we use to
generate forms is any PC word processor. Then we utilize a technique published
in the August 1996 edition of News/400. We've put images, etc on our Fax cover
pages for IBM's Facsimile Support/400 with this method. In general you have to
print to a very special file and run it through some gyrations on the 400. If
you can't find the article let me know and maybe I'll send it out.
