I'm sure there is a better way, but for V3R2 we use the workstation feed back
area (B 378 379) which gives us the subfile record number of the first entry
currently being displayed and (B 370 371) divided by 256 for cursor row.

Some simple math gives you the selected subfile record.  Unfortunatly this has 
us
hardcoding the subfile display starting row.

So cursor row - starting row + first entry = cursored subfile record.

BTW, I believe that feedback area B 282 283 also gives the row.  (Our feedback
code is a /COPY member we've been using since dirt.)

We use it in a display of the Open Receivables (among others) where the user
places a cursor on the entry, presses a function key, and up pops up an image of
the invoice.  It helps where turf is limited for the amount of data you want to
display and don't want to take up space for an options column.  The users like
it.
