You might consider your own validity checking program on a copy of the
SBMJOB command which is in a library above QSYS on the system library
list.  You could examine the call stack and see if the SBMJOB was being
issued from the IBM AS/400 Query Menus and change the JOBQ to your
special job queue.

Validity checking programs are described in the OS/400 CL Programming
manual in the "Defining Commands" section.  BTW, be sure that the
library that your version of SBMJOB resides in has only *USE authority
and not *CHANGE or you could be in for some surprises.

To determine the parameters which will be passed to the validity
checking program, check out the RTVCMDSRC command on the News/400 web
site at http://www.news400.com

Also, be advised that this solution may require modifications when
moving to a new release of OS/400 if any of the SBMJOB parameters are
added or changed.
