I dont think this is possible in V3R2.  However, if you get CODE/400 (VARPG is 
being
thrown in with this for $1,150 US), you get to monitor the variable (same as 
watch
in STRISDB).   The nice thing about the interactive debugger it has many nice
features like run to location (as in STRISDB) and color coding break points etc.
It is a tad slow on CISC machines.   Also, it lets you debug OPM programs 
compiled
with option(*srcdbg).  Just like CA service packs are released on IBM's web 
site.
You also can join code-400 listserv to get questions answered!
