  • Subject: FW: ILE RPG:Is the use of ITER & LEAVE Structured Programming?

IMO, ITER and LEAVE are useful and efficient op codes that in no way detract
from the clarity of the code. I encourage their use where appropriate. We
strive to produce useful, maintainable programs that attempt to leverage our
technology investment towards the goals of this company, not produce works of
art that aspire to some arcane view of "purity". Let's stay focused on what is
important here.
