     Hi Folks,

I know this has been covered before but the only date processing
program that I have is written in RPG III, and I'd love to know if
some one could point me towards an ILE version. By date procssing
program I mean a program that checks, validates and converts between
date types. My major requirement at the moment is using the L Data
     type.

I could spend a week or so writing an ILE version using all the ILE
date functionality however I'm not upto speed with all the date
processing functions of ILE. One of my former bosses warned me about
re-inventing the wheel and I know someone out there has done this
already so if someone can point me in the right direction then I'd be
     very grateful.

Also, are there any specific problems using RPG/LE with regard to
dates in the range beyond 2039.

     Thanks in advance,

     Frank Meaney
